Silent Driving !

Would feel great if this happens in India right ?

the same thing started to my mind a month before and I started exercising it for myself ...

believe me after putting in some efforts on temptation to push horn while driving, it was not an impossible task, what is required is some amount of patience and forgiveness .. and that's it.

what makes you angry to push hard on horn ?
1) when a 2-wheeler guy driving in mid of road on slow speed even road is clear ... I keep driving silently for same time I used to do previously (by pushing hard on horn) and ~99% of the time the person moves aside on his own
2) when 2/3/4 wheeler pops out from sub-way onto the main road (inherently in India no one bothers about traffic on main road before plunging on to highway !) .... instead of shouting on him, I reduce my vehicle speed to let him go, anyway u horn or not it dosen';t matter for that person, he is going to plunge !
3) when a Truck is driving amid road (theoretically they are supposed to be driving on LHS of road in India) .. giving hi-beam flash helps most of the time ... only u hv to gv him some time to move on one side ... or if road is clear .. i overtake from the left hand side (with due care)

list can be extended to any extent .. however what is important is control on you and give some breathing time tom exercise this habit of  "Silent Driving"

Last week (W4 Feb 2012) I was driving down to Bhimashankar alongwith my friends .. during complete drive i did not use horn .. while we were passing through a small village road where there was crowd .. i was pretty slow ... since it was weekyl bazar daya .. there was some crowd, although once people understand there is a car i was getting space to move on .. looking at this my friend was astonished .. he asked me to put loud horn continuous ! he was not able to understand that even i put loud horn the crowd will not disappear in a second ! anyway ... I was able to complete the 100 kms ride silently :-)

by the way you must note that at Life Republic, they provide only one parking (even you want to buy more you can not ?) its funny to me ... such a huge township ... people with 2 BHK costing ~55 lacs ... and they think one will have single car at home ! NEVER ..... but no use ... they think you should not spend more money on car ,,, but may be walk around for kilometers to maintain your health .... i think this decision of the township planned is completely wrong ... since most of the people staying there wuld be from software park .. and with both husband/wife working  ... most of them wuld have at least two cars .... and to my surprise they have not planned for this ... they could have fetched more money out of selling parking to the owners ... didn't they ?

Update 07 May 2012 -->
Life Republic Hinjewadi by Kolte Patil, this project is not still approved by SBI for home loan, they informed me in January 2012  that they will get approval in 15 days, after 5 months !!! still they do not have approval from SBI !!!

Update W4 April -->
The registration office is at Paud ! and there is good amount of rush, say Life republic people book ~21 persons in a day, so you need to be there early morning 9.30 am, so as to wrap as soon as possible, also at Paud there is no good hotels around, so do not get along with kids there, nothing to play with and need to wait for at least 2~3 hours. so better to carry some packed food for you (drinking water u can buy from local shop or carry, since they sell local brand water bottles)

honestly it is not great as compared to the one seen in month of Feb 2012, if one looks at the scope of the project, this speed will definitely not help ! this is my first cut judgement based on my own experience in industry. they must speed up and synchronize at this time only else they will surely miss the targets ..
the possession of flats they are claiming t o be in 2015, which means they must hurry, but let's see since the technology the will be using is to build from ready made slabs ...

This Sunday I visited the Life Republic - Kolte Patil, Marunji Hinjewadi and find it facinating ...

The kind of facilities they have thought of are the best one has thought of ...

the bungalow construction is in progress as on now.

Till now the schemes open are almost 95% sold out ! and further avenues will be open with higher rate per square foot. Last week the rate hiked by 100 Rs psf, so now minimum rate is 3500 Rs psf till 5th floor, after that rate hike of 25 rs psf per floor is applicable, so if you want to buy 22nd floor you need to pay Rs 425 psf more ! (but it may be worth in my opinion)

but believe me, if things go as they have shown, this will be best place to live in India (as you know Pimpri Chinchwad has already won "Best city in India" award for 2011-2012)

Barbecue time

Update April 12 -- third attempt ... went with lot of improvement and learning from friends who are alredy doing this and got some experties ...so learning's go like this ..

when u want to use  Potato's, Cauliflower do cut them wash and then soak in salt water for 3~4 hours .. this prevents them from becoming dry on barbecue as well as gives great taste due to salt. also do not forget to put  lot of butter when u grill them :-)
also one more important tip (from experiments) .... the coal should not be flaming .. i mean ur potato or cauliflower should not get direct flames but red hot heat from the coal, so wait for some time till coal burns and the flames go off .. this shall give u good results in terms of taster and no charred food ....

Its end of winter now ... and that calls for barbecue time ...

it will take some time to experiment and master the art of barbecue ! but sure in years to come !! i will do it (any expert wants to guide me in this welcome)

Yesterdays experiment was done with Potatos, Cauliflower, and Chicken ...

Potato's are done successfully since they were also tried before 3~4 times ... wash them up ... cut partly .. put lot of butter + chilli (green fresh or red powder) + salt to taste ... then wrap it in aluminum foil .. put it inside the coal .. this time i applied butter also from outside the potato resulting into more softer skin ... and no need to remove the skin since that also taste different after roasting :-)

Cauliflower with butter + salt .. ummm .. it tastes like heaven ... ummy .. tasty .. too good ...

Chicken was the first time experiment so it needs lot of improvement ( yep .. it failed in the first attempt .. but better luck next time !)

I could not get time to photograph more ,.. since all members were keen in finishing hot food before I get chance to do something ! .. so i left the camera and jumped to enjoy the things ... next time for sure i will do it !
