Test drive with Logan 1.4 GLX

Mahindra Logan 1.4 GLX review

Today I had test drive of about 3 kms with Logan 1.4 GLX along with my all family members.
We also drove for about 10 kms with their driver.

This is what I though of Logan after this test drive :-

1) Roominess : amazing, in the front seat in rearmost position I was able to sit comfortably in the rear seat. Also three in the rear is no problem at all, even your shoulders won't touch ! also room above the head is good enough to protect you from large bumpy rides.
Also you get very very good boot space to accommodate all your long weekend luggage :)

2) the HVAC : it's powerful and cools down in minute, of course I need to try it in summer.

3) Central locking : It has got central locking and power windows, only one thing to be noted is that it does not have button of all windows up/down at all ! I was expecting that, since all other cars have it.This model does not have keyless entry option but you do have central locking available.

4) Clutch : slightly hard, but never mind I am used to drive my old Omni for years :)

5) Colours : you have five exterior colours to choose from Diamond white / Sahara beige / F. Black / Diamond white / Mist silver, we liked Mist Silver the most, since it suits to the style. For interior colour you do not have choice and all models have same colour combination. They can improve it much better since Dash and door inner has got slightly different tones which does not go well with each other.

6) Steering: Power steering slightly hard, if you compare it with small cars such as Santro. Also combi-switch to control wiper arm and head light is of European style i.e. on reverse side than Indian cars.

7) Suspension : seems ok, goes well on bumps.

8) Looks : not great, it does not stand well in crowd. someone really wants to go for great space can only go for it.
